  • This is a house where Mom, Dad, Sandra and I lived in around 1961-1964. The Forsites lived next door to the left of the photo. The house had a basement, split level back yard and the carport was added after we moved from here.
  • This is an Assembly of God church that was on our street. I believe we did attend this church some.
  • We attended First A/G in Borger.
  • This building during the early 60's was Frank's Toyland. Our Dad purchased the store from Mr. Milam who owned Milam's Toyland's around Texas. Our Dad worked for Mr. Milam on and off for many years from a very early age.
  • This is Borger High School. I attended here my Freshman year and part of the next year. I was attending this HS when JFK was shot.

  • This was another house in Borger that we lived in for a short time. I believe this is where we lived when Belinda was born.
  • Nothing of historical value to our family, just thought it was a neat old garage!

  • I believe this is the last house in Amarillo we lived in before moving to Borger. Dad had a 1956 2dr sedan, black and white, Chevrolet. He purchased a 1959 blue Volkswagon to drive to Borger as Miliam had Dad open a store in downtown Borger. You can see one basement window on the right.<br />

I had a full size pool table in the basement and Mom did not want Uncle Buddy to know their was a pool table in the house. So one Thanksgiving she wanted to use it as the dining table. That did not happen, and when Buddy, Lucille and Dwayne came over for Thanksgiving Uncle Buddy watched Dwayne and I play pool :-)
  • This is the drive in theater that Mom & Dad went to see the Ten Commandments movie. Mom did not want anyone to know they went to a movie!

  • Sandra went to Crockett Elementary in Borger.
