Today we got up to a beautiful day in South Dakota. We shopped a couple of antique shops and then went back to the RV to hook up the Escape and head out to Mount Rushmore. The drive to Mount Rushmore was beautiful. The weather was clear and about 70 degrees. I have heard about Mount Rushmore all of my life but never understood the beauty until we arrived. It is a wonder to behold. We headed out to Rapid City, SD to a few more antique shops and then on to an RV park just outside of Spearfish, SD. Tomorrow we will be headed to Regina, Canada so this maybe the last update for a few days. It will take us about 6-8 days to reach Fairbanks.
